Shanghai Hengchang Precision Machining Co., Ltd was founded in 2003 in the city of Shanghai, the fast growing business center in China. Since its formation, the company has grown from having 2 CNC machines to now, having 30 CNC machines with 50 employees. The company has more competitive edges with its dedicated machinists and talented engineers. Our management team has over 20 years of experience working in the United States on machining process, mechanical design, process development and production management in microwave communication and semiconductor industry. Our years of experience in custom machining make us extremely familiar with these highly technical products involving incredibly close tolerances. We firmly believe that our success is determined by the complete satisfaction of our customers.

In our machining process, we have chosen Destiny, an American made high performance end mill as our majority cutting tool to ensure our high quality surface finishing and high efficiency.

In addition to our machining service, we have also access to other supporting services in our proximity, including plating (Silver, Copper, Gold, Nickel, Chemfilm, Anodization, etc.), painting, die casting, sheet metal stamping/welding, and EDM etc.

Management Profile:

The founder and president of the company, Mr. David Wu, earned his Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering in South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1993. Then he jointed REMEC, Inc. (Northern California division) from 1993 through 2000. He had been actively involved in various job performances including mechanical design (for transceiver, amplifier, and filter etc. for microwave communication products), CNC programming, machining process development, machine shop management, etc. After that, Mr. Wu worked for Vitesse Semiconductor, Inc. (Northern California division) from 2000 through 2002 as a process engineer. In this company, Mr. Wu performed mechanical design for transponder, modulator and process development for product manufacturing.
